Qatar, Downtown Doha

Managed a few shots from Doha and in "The Pearl" area. Most days are thick with haze so I took advantage of a somewhat clear day to snap some pics.

Unique building in Bahrain and beach shot taken during a working trip. Brought my Canon 7D and Sigma 18-250mm lens which has become a proven workhorse set up for traveling light.

Masirah, Oman

Masirah Island, Oman

Masirah Island, Oman was a fantastic spot for the camera. The rustic village and peirs were a great chance to capture local island life. Here I shot local fishermen out netting schools of small fish, the amazing sunset and a local Omani boy on the ferry ride.

Bee

Several bees were having lunch on some flowers along a wall in Williamsburg so I eased in for a shot. This was taken using my Canon 7D and Sigma DC HSM OS 18-250mm lens. f/9, 1/320 sec exposure and ISO-200 at 120mm focal lenngth. Sunlight white balance and center weighted average metering.
