Swan Lake S.C.

I had several hours to kill in Sumter S.C. before catching my flight up to D.C. and on to Qatar so I google mapped Sumter to look for parks. I figured I could take some pics or just relax. I spotted Swan Lake-Iris Gardens and off I went. I had no idea I was in for such an amazing jewel of a park. I had absolutely no idea this place was going to be so nice. Fall Touch

Fall offers some unique chances to catch color contrasts and simple subject matter that is often over looked. I took these shots using Canon 7D and Sigma 18-250mm lens while traveling to VA and SC in October 2011. The East was not in its full fall color mode yet but there were enough subtle hints of autumn to bring the camera to eye.
